Located on the shores of Lake Geneva, Lausanne is a French-speaking
city of 250,000 inhabitants, just 40 minutes by train from Geneva
international airport. It is home to world-famous higher education
establishments – the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (EPFL),the
Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL) and the Institute for Management
Development (IMD). Many well-known companies and organisations
have their headquarters in the region.
