Out and about
Brillantmont takes advantage of its location at the heart of Europe
to discover neighbouring countries, at weekends, as part of class field
trips, long weekends and school holidays.
Recent trips to Italy have included Milan, Sicily, Venice, Florence and
Tuscany. English classes have enjoyed trips to theatres in London and
Stratford-upon-Avon, UK. History trips regularly visit famous historical
sites including Berlin and Munich, Germany and the war battlefields
of France and Belgium. France is close by and our students often visit
Paris, Lyon, Annecy and the famous spa resort of Evian, at the other
side of the lake.
Trips beyond Europe include Singapore (Model United Nations),
Cambodia and Botswana (with Habitat for Humanity).
Travel is a great way to discover new ways of life and other cultures and
provides memories that students will treasure for years to come.
A world on our doorstep,
waiting to be discovered.
“During ski week, we enjoyed breath-taking scenery
and great snow. The ski teachers were fun and it was
great to spend a week with friends, enjoying the fresh
Alpine air.”

“Habitat for Humanity is a unique, eye-opening
experience. Going to Portugal enabled me to see a
different reality; it took me out of my comfort zone
and helped us all acknowledge our responsibilities
towards society.”
